[September 11, 2023] What started as gloomy weather eventually became a day full of warmth and love for the new Axis Meg Petroleum Corp. branch in Brgy. Dela Paz, Biñan Laguna. During the initial set up before opening, the sky was as dark as night and the rain seemed to get stronger by the minute which caused a lot of problems while fixing the area for the blessing and grand opening of the new station. However, what might seem as a miracle made the sky bright which also led to the branch’s opening to become a success.
The event started at 8:30am with having photo ops for the board of directors and other vital members of the company. The program then started with an opening prayer which was led by Mr. Russell Udaundo, followed by the opening remarks from Mr. Sian Solis. The warm welcome from Mr. Solis in his opening remarks radiated the warmth the sun gave for the said event. This was then followed by the blessing proper which was led by Rev. Fr. Matienzo which blessed not only the branch, but also everyone that attended the event. The vice president of Axis Meg Petroleum Corp. Mr. Miles Gardner then gave his inspirational speech which ignited the hearts of everyone at Axis Meg to light brighter and aspire to give the quality service and give their all for their customers. The branch was then formally opened by the President of Axis Meg Petroleum Corp. by Mrs. Melane Gardner by giving her closing remarks and officially opening the branch. This event wouldn’t be an Axis Meg event without the traditional coin tossing around the branch which was handled by Ms. Joanne Enseñado. After a few minutes of calibration, the newest branch in Brgy, Dela Paz Biñan to be fully operational.
Before letting in some customers, the interns gave those who went to the branch early to support the opening some gift vouchers as a sign of gratitude for their support and love for Axis Meg Petroleum Corp. These gift vouchers were inclusive of a discount of ₱100.00 which would be valid for the day and this would be on top of the opening day promo of ₱3.00 off per liter for regular and premium, and a ₱2.00 off per liter for diesel. With the opening promo, the interns went to the road and enticed a lot of customers passing by to get full tanks which helped in making the grand opening a success. A lot of motorist suddenly rushed in to get their tanks full after learning that their is a huge opening promo that awaits them.
